EMAIL ALERT!
Emails claiming to be from Renasant Bank

Most likely you have seen them: email messages asking you to verify personal information over the Internet. The scam, called "phishing" involves the use of fraudulent emails, web pages, etc, to deceive the consumer into entering personal, financial or password data.

Renasant Bank will never ask you to verify any account or personal information via email. This is part of our defense against "phishing". Listed below are other safeguards to help protect you from phising scams:

  • Be suspicious of any email messages that claim to be from us that use an urgent or scare-tactic tone;
  • Do not respond to email messages asking you to verify personal information;
  • Delete suspicious email messages without opening them as well as any links or attachments that may be associated with the email;
  • Install and regularly update virus protection software.

If you see a suspicious looking email claiming to be from Renasant Bank please alert us immediately at customerservice@crescentbank.com. Additionally, also consider contacting the FBI’s Internet Fraud Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov.
